Yapak Beach (Puka Shell Beach) is the second longest beach in Boracay and is one of the most favored beaches in the Island of Boracay.

Yapak Beach gets it other name owing to a large number of puka shells found in its beach. A careful and eclectic collection of these shells could yield rewards in the form of necklaces, bracelets and other form of jewellery. The Puka shell jewellery enjoyed great popularity during the seventies when personalities on the likes of Elizabeth Taylor were endorsing it. These white shiny shells were collected in such vast numbers that only a few adorn the beach now. It is important to remember that collecting puka shells is prohibited under the Philippines law, which deems it as tantamount to crime.
